A Look Back
December 3, 2019 | City Winery Boston
We rise up to face injustice * We keep hope, however long it takes * We rebuild from what we’ve lost
Thank you to all who joined us at our inaugural storytelling event and celebration, Voices of the Innocent: Still We Rise, on December 3, 2019 at City Winery Boston. Along with a message from honorary host, Rabia Chaudry, the evening featured exonerees and family members from New England sharing their personal stories of loss, truth, hope, and resilience. The event was a celebration of our successes, to raise awareness about the impact of wrongful convictions on our community, and to help raise vital support so we can continue our important work in 2020.

About the New England Innocence Project
The New England Innocence Project fights to correct and prevent wrongful convictions and ensure justice within the criminal legal system for innocent people imprisoned for a crime they did not commit.
We provide free forensic testing, investigation, experts, and an experienced legal team to exonerate the innocent and bring them home to their loved ones. We also use our expertise about wrongful convictions to provide education and advocate for legislative and judicial reforms to prevent future tragedies.
