Become a Sustainer of Freedom

Deepen your impact on this life-changing work

At the New England Innocence Project, we free innocent people from prison, support families impacted by incarceration through the Exoneree Network, and fight to end the oppressive harms of the criminal legal system. Fighting against the injustices of our criminal legal system is a lengthy and complex process. We have worked with some clients for over a decade to overturn their wrongful convictions. This takes years of planning, a relentless team of lawyers, investigators, and experts, and tremendous resources. This is why today, we invite you to deepen your impact on this life-changing work.

We are proud to be launching our Sustainers of Freedom monthly donor program and community. At this moment in history, when our clients and our community are under threat, we need a reliable source of funding to continue our fight. A gift of $10, $25, or $50, given monthly, helps us plan for the future and pursue every resource possible to fight the injustices of wrongful conviction.

By becoming a Sustainer of Freedom, you will:

  • Provide Steady Support:  Ensure we have the resources to persistently advocate for those wrongfully convicted, some of whom have spent decades in prison.

  • Join a Community of Changemakers: Connect with like-minded individuals committed to fighting injustice at in-person and virtual conversations, which will offer deeper insights into our work and impact.

  • Support Systemic Changes: Fund our work to address systemic issues that lead to wrongful convictions, including banning deception in police interrogations.

This is more than a giving program—it's a community fueled by individuals like you who know the criminal legal system is unjust and want to be a part of systemic change. Become a Sustainer of Freedom today

Together, we can sustain the fight for freedom, and co-create a world without wrongful convictions.

In solidarity,
